I call this look Big Chief Loser. You don’t live in the Woodland Cree, nor was your land every stolen by White Europeans. Frankly, I thought this trend had died out along with Juicy Tracksuits. Apparently, I was wrong. Personally, I believe this trend had D & G written all over it and I don’t like it. This winter, try a pair of almond toe, knee-high leather riding boots or some platform, rock and roll ankle boots instead. After all, the chance of you pulling off the posh horse-riding look and the 80s-hair-band-rocker-look is disproportionately higher than the Native American look any day.

Oh, everyone puts down big compfy boots because a few celebs miswear them. I live in the middle of cold country, where big compfy boots are really necessary in the middle of the cold harsh winter, for the sake of my sanity… is it not ok for me to wear them?
I think these are more fringe-y boots than big, comfy (like Uggs) boots. Either way, I have to agree that they’re a pretty big fashion foul. Sorels fulfill the big & comfy qualifications while still being appropriate & functional (ie, for the cold, harsh outdoors). You don’t have to look like a Pocahontas wannabe to be warm & comfortable.
I’ve had Sorels and I don’t like them…
Have Juicy Couture tracksuits died out? You wouldn’t know it from the it girls at school…
Shoebunny has identified these cool boots that you spotted on the beauties. They are Minnetonka Boots. I can tell, that they really look good and are worth the catch. I DO LIKE THEM.
