I was really thinking that the current trend of little black minidresses (LBMD) and black tights would be like Dressing For Dummies. I mean, isnt the LBD the simplest way to look chic, stylish, and in this particular season, in the know, too? This picture, however, shows how a good concept can be dampened because it was, as Project Runway’s Nina Garcia would say, “poorly executed”. From the tiers of fabric to the intrusive hair to the non-complementary bag and shoes, instead of saying, “I look stylish” it says, “I know the trends. All of them, in fact. Do you think it’s a bit much?” If her hair was pulled up and back, the bag was ditched, and a more muted pair of shoes were chosen, there would have been potential.
Supermodel, smooopermodel. I guess it is just a title, not a Style Certificate.

It is fair to say that if you want to be stylish because you are a “celebrity’ and have the means because after all whether you want it or not you will be scrutinised by the ‘connoisseurs ‘ in the matter, then it would be better to hire someone who really understands style ……..style is not about labels or price tag for that matter it is how you put everything together without overshadowing the wearer but complimenting her in such a manner that it focuses on the personality as saying …..”it all makes sense and yet it looks ever so effortlessly”..
