According to Women’s Wear Daily (www.wwd.com), Phoebe Philo (the ex-creative genius behind Chloe, one of my favouritest labels EVER) “who last January resigned from the creative helm at Chloe, appears to have already dipped her toe back into fashion…According to market sources, Philo has been quietly consulting for Gap in Europe.”
It all makes sense now. I mean, was it just me or did all of Rouland Mouret’s GAP stuff look like Chloe rehashes anyway? And once again, GAP North America gets zip, nadda, zilch…

Miuccia Prada has decided to no longer hold a runway show for her Miu Miu’s men’s line and instead, has opted for a showroom presentation.
This is sad news. Part of Miuccia’s appeal, at least for me, is the runway-only presentation she is able to execute. I mean, look at the furry bowlers hats. Wearable? No comment. Entertaining? “Si” or in Miu Miu’s case, would it be “Oui”?
