I watched Bobby last night, so I have been inspired to do something 60′s short. Or wait…maybe it was just an instinctual response to constant exposure to Britney’s v-jay-jay?
Whatever it is, I still think that short can be done in the winter months. With this outfit, the bold, zippered jacket is really the statement piece (www.zara.com). The TOPSHOP sweaterdress (www.topshop.com) is oh-so-sweet, but pairing it with Nine West leather riding boots (www.ninewest.com) keeps it from looking too literal schoolgirl. Keep warm in some wooly tights (www.urbanoutfitters.com) (okay, I know these aren’t laced with down. Bah. suck it up…) and a thermal Henley underneath.
And yeah, the bag (www.davidsshoes.com) is a little expensive for school. But isn’t realizing wealth and success the first part in actually achieving it?
