Celebrity Style at Dolce & Gabbana’s Raise Awareness For The Art Of Elysium

The stars turned out for Dolce & Gabbana’s party last night. Everyone from Mischa Barton to the Olsens were present and chances are they were decked out in black. Here’s Barton in modified S/S 2007 Dolce & Gabbana. It’s a cute dress, but don’t you’ve get the feeling you’ve seen it before. Oh wait, maybe you have…H & M? Zara? Mango? Here is Lindsay Lohan who looks quite proper in this belted trench. Hating Lindsay is easy, but she manages to evoke a level of classiness in this outfit not seen very often – even if we know it’s a facade of Marlboro smoke and alcohol smeared mirrors.

Next up is Mary Kate Olsen, who looks surprisingly like Ashley Olsen suddenly. Once again, she goes off on her own fashion tangent, but fails for Sienna Miller’s favourite offense – overload; I mean, the bracelets, the fur, the white bag, the busy dress, and that hair coupled like that, look like a mere afterthought. I’m the first to appreciate a little Hansel & Gretel chic hair ‘do, but it doesn’t redeem this questionable fashion potpourri. Though, her sister, Ashley, unarguably redeems the Olsen name with this bowed dress. From a distinctive, albeit entirely flattering, dress (Balenciaga reminiscent with the sleeve cut in one piece with the yoke, no?) to the perfect shoe, this is the clear winner. And frankly, it’s nice to see the nourished twin receive some of the attention once in a while, no?
