It’s been a dark scene on the red carpet from the looks up it.
Here is Joy Bryant at the Club Monaco Hosts Cashmere and Cocktails party, wearing- how appropriate - a sequined Club Monaco dress. In person, the dress has a great cut-out detail at the back and while I appreciate that Bryant didn’t fuss it up with Beyonce hair and J. Lo bling, it looks awfully boring for such a high-impact dress. Next up is Courtney Cox wearing sparkly, asymmetrical vintage Thierry Muggler. I must point out that while the dress is spot-on, her choice in footwear was misguided and I question whether Courteny has the edge to offer justice to that dress.
Here is the lovely Scarlett Johansson at a Private Dinner to Celebrate Les Perles de Chanel on December 12. I outwardly confess that Scarlett does a red lip like very few can and she gets extra salt shakers for keeping the girls, as some would say, “locked and loaded”. Last we have the ever elusive Winona Ryder shopping in an all-black ensemble on Tuesday. The hat is a little over kill and I am put off by her “Damn! Empty handed!” expression. Not that I’m implying anything, you know.
