Yup, according to Vogue.co.uk, Diane Kruger will be the face of Chanel handbags, replacing Depp’s love Vanessa Paradis. That explains the misguided choice of that god awful Chanel creation she wore a while back. And while I’m glad she’s getting the attention she deserves, I must confess I’m a little disheartened.
I feel like very hipster kid the moment they heard their moms tell them that The Killers were awesome. While not my little secret, I liked that she was slightly under the radar. That said, at least I can rely on Mr. Lagerfeld, if slightly eccentric, for having enough sense to put Kruger in the ads, instead of the disaster known as Lindsay Lohan.
