Every year, there are a slew of high-end designers who succeed in selling some beyond atrocious items simply because of a tiny stitched label. Okay, sometimes it’s embossed across the entire item in pink thread. That said, instead of snickering, I like to commend these designers for being able to garner more than a few green bucks for these visual atrocities. Though, if it were up to me, the only coloured paper they would be getting would be pink. To be fair, however, what would entire regions in Asia wear if we scrapped this crap? 
The Nominees… Louis Vuitton Shoe, Dior Jacket, Fendi Boot
First up is this patent leather ankle stap platform shoe with bow from Louis Vuitton. Sure, these Louis Vuitton boots appeared in nearly every editorial on “sportswear” this season, but let’s call ugly, ugly. I don’t think eve Valentina Tereskhkova would have worn these babbies. And frankly, I think it speaks volumes when Maria Carey is one of the first persons to sport these on BET.
Next is this Dior by John Galliano wool cropped jacket with black Mongolian fur. This would have been part of the wardrobe of the movie Flamenco had it been designed by Cousin It on Paxil. Though I’ve seen worse crap from Galliano in the past – or rather, just look at his entire men’s line.
Last up is the Fendi boot, likely designed by Silvia Venturini. Frankly, it’s comforting to know that it wasn’t Lagerfeld producing this crap. This boot looks like it once belonged to Chewbacca or Bigfoot, but either way, Ventrini should be punished for creating such atrocity. Though, the ratty black fur trend has caught on (think Moss, Lohan). Even still, weren’t most prophets crucified anyway?
