Here is Lucy Liu at the “Code Name: The Cleaner” premiere on Jaunary 4th. In a one-shouldered Rachel Roy dress (very of-the-moment) and a gold bag and heels, Liu strikes the perfect balance between clean lines and a dip into decadence. Now if only she could pass some of that fashion sense to her Charlie’s Angel buddy Diaz.
Next up is Hilary Swank, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 8. The super-girly look is cute on Swank and the proportion is right on.From her Guy Laroche to this, Swank showsus that great fit is never the issue.
Finally, we have Thandie Newton at “The Pursuit Of Happyness” UK premiere in London, on January 8th. You know how high my regard is for Ms. Newton, but this dress does little for her, to say the least. The constrictive neckline conceals hear beautiful décolletage, while the black tights seem more of a mechanical choice than a conscious styling decision.
