I started a new feature to showcase Fashion Insider style. I understand arguments can be made that these girls above are as much celebrities as they are fashion insiders, but I though I’d create a gap to credit them for usually being better dressed than their Hollywood counterparts.
First up is Ms. Carine’s daughter, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, at the Official Fashion Week Kick-Off Party. This is a lesson in silhouette and texture. Very Carine, but how can you not imitate a woman who dresses that well?
Next is heir to the Missoni thrown, Margherita Missoni, at the Miss Sixty F/W 2007/2008 show. I admit that most of this outfit resembles a ghetto video girl, but the gold, Marc Jacobs-friendly bomber redeems it slightly. I enjoy that.
Finally, we have everyone’s favourite (yes, you too!), Irina Lazareanu. This girl is too cool for school. Can I say anything bad?
