Luckily for me, my school is off on reading week. As for the rest of you suckers, drearily sitting in class on a cold Monday morning, I thought I would spruce up your day with a What to Wear Now: School, The Long Winter.

Start with some high-waisted, wide-legged trouser jeans (www.shopbop.com), which you’ll throw under a long sweater (www.topshop.com). Refrain from tucking in the sweater, but create a defined waist with a thin (key word: thin) brown belt. As for accessories, a high-heel oxford (www.zappos.com) seems like a fitting choice and if the NY AW/ 2007/2008 collections are any indication, one that will carry you through until next winter. Finally, a big parka on top (www.saks.com) because next fall, parkas/anoraks and satin minis will be the new skinny jean.
