I’m 20. Aren’t I supposed to be attracted to clashing outfits and neo-fluorescent colours? Shouldn’t I be assuming a general taste for all things tacky? Nope, and neither should the rest of us. Heck, If I didn’t live through it the first time and can still decipher this is one bad trend, then I would expect more from the rest of fashion. If people complain that spring’s futurism is a retro idea of the future, then this “youthfulness” is nothing but a retro idea of youth.
“Okay, let’s just throw prints and stars together and paint it bright pink. Doesn’t it just smell like raging hormones and clogged pores?

I have a general aversion to neon futurism myself, at least for real-life wear. But I did kind of like Christopher Kane’s wonky spring show.
Oh shut up, Adrian!!!!!
Don’t be such a square!!!
Come to London and you’ll understand why life here is so NEON and why Canada is so BLACK/NAVY
Funny you say that. I took a look at Pop at a newsstand today and could not find anything compelling about it… did not buy it in the end. It made me think, what is it about people’s idea of youth and total chaos and disorder? is that what youth has become? has it always been like that and I hadn’t notice? AM I GETTING OLD??? (panic!!) nothing agains neon, I quite enjoy that, but beyond neon, is youth just a mess in general? YOUTH=CHAOS?
