This morning, CoverGirl Cosmetics announced Drew Barrymore will be the newest face of its advertising campaign, in addition to being the co-creative director for her first commercial to debut in January 2008.
I think Drew’s a smart choice. Besides being pretty, her persona evades owning that menacing, Nicole Kidman-esque quality seen in fashion models. Translation: the suggestion of “real beauty” without being verbatim of the Dove campaign. More importantly, “easy, breezy” sits perfectly well with her approach to braziers – or lack thereof.
