In an interview with Cathy Horyn, Alber Elbaz said, “and I don’t think women in the past were as emotionally strong as they are today. It was very important for them to look beautiful. Now they want to be smart, active.” I love Elbaz but I think of Ms. Beckham is his pocketed white sack and think its more impassioned than founded.
