“Last week, on the eve of an important integrated marketing campaign launch (television commercials, glossy print ads and dedicated Web “experience”) for the fragrance Coco Mademoiselle, Chanel hosted fifteen bloggers from around the world — Spain, Singapore, Germany, France, the U.K., the United States and even a Canuck (our own Adrian Corsin of Fashion Verbatim). Established bloggers like Blogdorf Goodman, Cool Hunting and Fabsugar joined the exclusive junket: an all-expenses, no-obligation trip to Paris to experience firsthand (and hopefully, enthusiastically blog about) the objects and locations — the Chanel iconography, such as Coromandel screens and symbolic chandeliers — that play a prominent role in the fragrance campaign.”
