Cate Blanchett at the L’Oreal Paris 2007 AFI Awards Dinner at the Awards Room in Melbourne, Australia. The gown is akin to something off the Elie Tahari discount ranks, which we all know is far too inferior for Ms. Blanchett. The shoes, from what I can see, look like prom rejects, too.
Rosamund Pike also at the ‘Atonement’ premiere in Los Angeles. Yes, it’s matronly, but – and I think Mr. Lagerfeld would agree – isn’t it chic?

I just knew that that was Rodarte, and honestly, what a romantic idea.
Keira? Can’t bring myself to agree, the hair looks awful and I wish she hadn’t picked herself a dress that looked like a wannabe tutu. Something about the way the looks comes together doesn’t seem right.
Rosamund, on the other hand, looks great. Good choice keeping the hair down- it relaxes a dress that would have been too severe otherwise.
I really didn’t feel K’s outfit.

Much preferred Rosaline, and she’s so damn cool in a slightly frigid way, non? (Though the fact shes with Joe Wright gives her slight edge cred.)

At least the fact shes called Rosamund and notRosaline makes her that much cooler.
