Before you all scream “Bloody Murder!” on my reneging of my pledge to an anemic-hued wardrobe, one must remember that too much black will make others think youve become a self-directed retrospective to Kawakubo’s first fifteen years. So, yes, a little colour – every now and then – is palatable. Just please, please refrain from the phrase “pop of colour” and its myriad variations. We can’t let InStyle win.
