Despite rampant rumors of retirement, both Gemma Ward and her agency, IMG, are telling the press another story.
“I was surprised to wake up this morning and read news of my own retirement. While I am taking some time off currently to rest and enjoy the company of friends and family, I am still very much an excited and enthusiastic working model and actress. I’m only 20, for God’s sakes.”
Gemma had been spotted recently, enjoying her modeling hiatus by hiking in Nepal.
Representatives at IMG went on to confirm that while she will be taking further time off in September – meaning no Gemma walking in the upcoming spring shows.
