Despite the seemingly diminishing sales of luxury goods, Hermes (yes, sans accent, sorry) has decided to open up shop in an urban centre of San Diego. The unboutique-like sizing of the new store (2,500) says hello to shoppers at the Simon Property Group’s Fashion Valley Mall in La Jolla, complete with a tribute to the San Diego Zoo – a pink beach towel with zebras (niiice).
As quoted by TFS:
WWD is reporting that the store offers all 14 product categories of Les Metiers Hermes, consisting of leather goods, silk scarves and ties, perfumes, men and women’s ready-to-wear collections, watches, fine jewelry, shoes, equestrian, Art de Vivre and Art de Table.
