Welll I can’t quite say I feel quite as strongly as the last commenter, but I did think when I saw this that it was the kind of thing Adrian would not have liked. The Chanel logo necklace put it over the edge for me. But I promise I’m not bitter! I found my own pair of distressed boyfriend jeans (American Eagle – go figure – though they needed my help in distressing them a little further) and I plan on wearing them tomorrow, cuffed, with flat lace-ups. It will be great.
I can respect the backlash and it’s understandable – it might have been the outfit that I chose to post in this announcement – it completely embraces the more casual look. However, if you take a look at the other suggestions that were included in the entry I think these are deserving of a nod or two.
I appreciate the feedback though, I’ll take it all in stride, and as a cue to up the nature of the content.
