We’ve all seen Lady Gaga in her oompa-loompa-esque splendor on the cover of V61. Since it came out, I’ve heard (and seen on thefashionspot) numerous people remark that “she doesn’t belong in a fashion magazine next to all the moddddelllsss.” This is pure tomfoolery- in my eyes, no mainstream celebrity is more worthy of a cover than Gaga. Who else exhibits any creativity these days? On a daily basis, her outfits are an improvement from this cover (Below) in particular, and any snob sniveling that a 17-year-old plucked from the midwest is more fashionable than this creature of art is stuck in a commercial RUT.

It’s funny, the shots from inside I liked the most showed the least clothing (Below)! Both Gaga and stylist Nicola Formichetti deserve my respect, I was just surprised that the whole shoot didn’t push the fashion envelope, specifically, to a higher degree.
