People talk about “day clothes” and “night clothes”. Do they really exist? I understand glamming it up a bit for evening when you’re not mid-workday, which for me usually means thrice the mascara and heels, but does anyone own “work clothes” and “going out clothes” anymore in the classic sense? It doesn’t seem very creative…
I saw a lot of wear-all-the-time clothes in Sonia Rykiel’s recent collection (Below). The first dress and the red jumpsuit are a little much for heavy daylight hours; exactly what I look for in a one-piece garment, and easy to transition via your jacket and makeup. And, in the case of dress #1, a full-coverage bra.

Rykiel’s clothes appeal to me every season. Maybe it’s that she always makes full, long-sleeve onesies that aren’t cute or too trendy, or that her pieces are never offensive to the female form. Either way, I wish I had a closetful of her hip-crazy-lady loungewear to choose from before going out my door this morning.
