As every season passes, I thank Marc Jacobs for not reverting back to his celebrity advertising campaigns for his namesake line. After all we see enough celebrities (and Victoria Beckham) on the cover of magazines and in the gossip pages. For his spring/summer 2010 advertising campaign he chose up and coming American model Jamie Bochert, who’s unusual look has landed her spreads in Vogue Russia and Vogue Italia as well as featuring in the Gucci Fall/Winter 2009 advertising campaign. Photographed by Juergen Teller, Bochert looks beautifully ethereal while perching on a toilet. An odd combination but it’s better we definitely like it better than last season.
