Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli was born and raised in Florence, so it comes as no surprise that it’s the place he calls “part of my life and is a part of myself.” It’s always interesting when fashion designers show us their roots, it allows the fashion lover to empathise a little more about their upbringing and understanding where their love of fashion came from – well that’s just what I think. This two-part video entitled My City, My Life was part of a series of shorts that aired on CNN, the content isn’t very insightful, but it is definitely one to watch if you’re a Cavalli fan or just want to see the sights of beautiful Florence.
