Naomi Campbell paid tribute to her good friend, the late Lee Alexander McQueen by wearing one of his Spring/Summer 2010 designers. Needless to say she looks fabulous in the dress and because we’re feeling sentimental she gets full marks for her effort.
The Olsen twins made an appearance on the red carpet with Ashley Olsen wearing a modified Christian Lacroix Spring 2010 gown. The beige color washes her out but we do love the dramatic feel of the whole look and of course the Fendi platform heels. The same couldn’t be said of Mary-Kate Olsen’s black Lanvin ensemble paired with a black fur shrug. She looks like an stand-in for Grey Gardens as the look drowns her (but then again it is her signature). All that said, somehow it works for her, but we’re not loving it.
Now here’s the pop of color we needed, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts stood out on the red carpet in this pink Vanessa Bruno short-suit. The bright pink is a bold choice, but the color doesn’t seem to go so well with her hair or skin tone and the strappy black sandals should have been something in silver. We love/hate this look.
