It’s fair to say Karl Lagerfeld has an obsession, for the last few season his focus has been solely on the modeling talents of Baptiste Giabiconi and Freja Beha, which is making the whole advertising campaign season a little boring and expected (two things fashion should not be) since Largerfeld is head of Chanel, Fendi and his own namesake line. So it came as no surprise that he went down the same garden path and chose to feature Freja and Baptiste in his latest Chanel eyewear ads for the spring summer 2010 advertising campaign. Ok so the campaign is sort of inventive and a lot more interesting than just a face wearing sunglasses, but we think the campaign borders on creepy and dull. What do you think?

Chanel make great eyewear, but this campaign looks pretty uninspiring to me.
Love! I particularly like the minimalist feel of the ad – really highlights the sunnies!
Is that a real camera in the first one?
Is it the same camera as SNP has here? http://www.refinery29.com/20-top-street-style-looks-from-fashion-week.php
Also, does anyone know what the nail polish is that she’s wearing? Love the neutral/blushy colour of it – perfect for spring!
Nice shades, love Freja!
Does anybody know what kind of camera does Baptiste have in his hand? If so please do tell!
