Alexander McQueen left us all too soon this February and was in the midst of finishing his Fall 2010 womenswear collection. The collection, inspired by the Old Masters of fine art, was shown to a private audience who weren’t allowed to take photos or video footage. But it was all so the beautifully intricate collection could be viewed on its own merits without outpourings of love. The show notes simply stated that, “each piece is unique, as was he.”
