
The best thing about Dree Hemmingway has got to be the fact that she is the granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway. A fact that may have helped her profile in the modeling world – there is nothing better than being the spawn of someone famous (or, spawn of the spawn of someone famous in this case). Anyway, the young Dree was recently unveiled as the face of Salvatore Ferragamo’s new fragrance, Attimo (a moment) and the accompanying ad campaign is a little less than alluring. “Dree Hemingway was chosen for her “sweet, natural qualities — she epitomizes the spirit of the fragrance,” says Michele Norsa, chief executive officer of Ferragamo Parfums.
But the image of Dree lounging on a bed with a bottle of the fragrance in hand sells the stunning red heels to me but not the perfume.
