Summer may be on its way out in the northern hemisphere but that hasn’t stopped Vogue Italia‘s August 2010 from highlighting one of summer’s biggest beauty issues – skin cancer. In Australia skin cancer is a major issue thanks to a hole in the ozone layer over much of the country, so we all know to put on the SPF and avoid the tanning beds. But in most other countries it’s barely a blimp on people’s minds as they hit the tanning beds. Perhaps this editorial, photographed by Steven Klein and show casing spray tanning will help?

I don’t think it will make any difference.. I struggled to find a daily moisturizer in France recently with SPF.. could only find one on the entire shelf
Hopefully this will give the issue some exposure. I know a lot of older people that are having skin issues due to a lifetime of sun exposure.
