We love and loathe multiple covers of one issue of a particular magazine. We suspect it’s because magazines need to sell issues, so the more ‘collectable’ their cover options are, the more people will buy. That’s our theory anyway. Vs Magazine has followed the likes of V and Love magazines by launching their 9th issue with 4 covers staring Naomi Campbell, Eva Mendes, Christina Ricci and Rachel Weisz. Themed Dark Beauty, we think the covers could have been better. The red swirls don’t make much sense, unless we read a little into the editor telling us that “blood and sweat were shed in the making but, yes, it was worth it. We sincerely hope you like it too.”
The cover shoots could have been a little more bold and dramatic, so to put it nicely, we don’t hate it but we’re a little bored.

Hayhay!

The only one that fits the white, red and black cover is Christina Ricci. She has that dramatic look in her eyes that makes out think of a tragic and serious purpose for this cover. The really sends out the message. The other three celebrities have a more seductive and provocative look. They don’t fit the background.
Seriously bums me out that these fab mags are nowhere to be found in our local Barnes&Nobles…sad day. Totally gorg shots!

I agree, lovely ladies but the red swirls, what are those for? I don’t care too much for it.
Christina Ricci looks hot in red and white.
