THE FINE ART OF FALL DRESSING

  • Share

Typically, I would dissect an editorial for you within an inch of its life, but since my partner Joseph and I styled this one, my eye is a bit more biased than usual. For the September issue of the Improper Bostonian, we went for an exquisitely classic aesthetic, evoking the portraiture of the Dutch masters. Our models channeled aristocratic siblings, elegant and cold in the grand prison of their affluence. We mixed pieces from labels like Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Jonathan Saunders, APC, Carolina Herrera and Chanel with vintage jewelry from our favorite source, 20th Century Ltd. in Boston. The full story can be viewed here.
