A little research [read: GOOGLING] revealed that Alain has been peddling his perfectly-cobbled wares for two years now. And while he has enjoyed a considerable amount of press attention, I will admit that this is the first time I’ve seen his label at a retailer… Leave it to Luisa Via Roma, the online house of haute, to be that retailer.
Definitely one to watch and, more importantly, BUY. Polished calfskin rendered in black, chocolate and cognac = the perfect, wear-it-wear-everything statement shoe.
