I’m almost embarrassed fluffing Six Scents any more than I already have, but in the spirit of Seven Days of Seven New York (what day are we on now? I could keep going forever with all the cool things on their site) I’ll set my pride and dignity aside and recommend this Juun J x Natalie Gracia-Cetto collaboration.
If you’re not familiar with Juun J‘s clothes, GET familiar, but in the meantime if you don’t have $1500-2000 to shell out on a fur-hooded parka straight out of Dark City, or trompe l’oeil gold-pyramid-stud printed puffy coat with actual gold studs added at random, the sultry and slightly confusing notes of this fragrance are equally cool and a bit more attainable. We find that the bergamot, pink pepper, and leather accord (amongst others) are hitting all the right notes.
Aside: When you spray it on. do NOT rub or press your wrists together, as I made the mistake of doing standing next to Six Scents owner Joseph Q. “Don’t crush the molecules,” he said flatly. Point taken…
